Chris spent part of the off season buying and learning to use a new head cam. He brought it out during Supergame 39 and was able to get some pretty good footage. I will get a link up to the video once we get it uploaded into youtube.
The camera went well for the most part but there was one problem: comfort. Once we got back Steve went to work to rig a setup that would be more user friendly.
This is what he came up with
The camera mount is bolted to the side of the helmet with padding on the inside to stop the screws from causing any pain when Chris is wearing it. It looks pretty sweet too!

ReplyDeleteSweet! We are all hoping that we get better footage next Supergame. Chris also ran into the problem that originally he had it mounted to his left side so anytime he was taking cover all you'd see was the side of a tree. This new mount is on his right so next time around he should get more action shots.
